Christmas Cracker from Paramo
It was a Christmas gift to myself and when I opened the package from Amazon I thought I had ordered a Santa's outfit! the colour was red, very red,I already had a black Mountain Pull-On which is ok, but this was bright, however I felt that as I was using it for cycling as well as walking I would certainly be visible. The great thing about Paramo is that they do exactly what it says on the tin, very warm and wicks away condensation quickly, and you just reverse it and it keeps you cool in warmer weather, superb, a useful breast pocket, perfect for money and mobile phone, a good high collar which zips down to the chest to keep cool. Someone said they make them from any spare bits of material they can find in Columbia, but hey, who cares, it does the job, and does it really well. Treat yourself now.

Impressive
This is my first Paramo garment and I'm very impressed. The quality of construction seems excellent. The fleecy side is much softer and finer than I had imagined (very nice indeed) and the fit is good (I ordered my actual chest size and the fit is perfect). I intend using this for birdwatching and although the green is a little brighter than I'd like, I think it'll be fine. (If they did this in the colour 'moss' and the size 'xsmall', I would have bought that). So, first impressions are good.
