Best waterproof over-trousers ever
Magnificent walking (over) trousers. Waterproof and windproof with full length zip for easy putting on and taking off even with boots on. Poppers back up the zip and mean that the zip can be undone from the top for ventillation without any flapping in the wind. Despite being waterproof, the material is soft and pleasant to walk in without undue rustling or rubbing. I have worn these every time I have taken the dog out in cold weather and been very cosy without overheating. They have a good fit at the top of my boots but I found gaiters necessary to keep the snow out when it was deep. I have washed once in Nikwax techwash and reproofed with Nikwax once.They came out like new! All in all the best walking trousers I have ever had!

waterproof but warm
I've worn these for a couple of winters now and they are definitely waterproof (in very serious rain, i.e. check out the data for N Wales 27 Dec 11 to 1 Jan 12) But you will get hot walking up hills unless you wear very light weight (or no) garments underneath. I generally unzip them and just have the press-studs unless it's sheeting it down.
