One way of checking whether an item is "real" is by careful examination of the labels, the label in the neck on this shirt is very poorly glued and stitched and therefore rubs and irritates the neck. I sent the first shirt back assuming it was a fault and the replacement is exactly the same. Lyle and Scott is a quality brand which makes me think that this top is not a real Lyle and Scott so buyer beware !!

I wanted something black that I could travel with and this works - won't show the dirt too quickly for a start, not that I am inclined to wear things more than once but sometimes circumstances force you to keep wearing. Quality is OK. Value for the money.
