I'm around 37-38" waist and 33" inside leg, though I usually wear my jeans long, so they rest on my boots.

I bought, or rather had bought as a gift, size XL and found them a good fit around the middle and the length was good. However, I may go one size larger to get the extra length in the leg, as explained above, if I buy a pair for myself.

There's a draw-string on the inside - so not visible when the trouser are zipped and buttoned - as well as belt loops, so you can wear them without a belt and still be sure they won't end up arround your ankles!

Found the fabric to be comfortable straight out of the pack, as if I'd worn and washed them a few times.

The styling is young - probably a little young for me, shades of mid-life crisis, though will have to get a few friends' take on that, sure they won't hold back - as there are zips everywhere and even an odd narrow pocket on the inside front thigh, which I'm not sure would serve any legitimate...
