Disappointed
Bought this jacket for a trip to the Lake District, previously had Berghaus but liked the style and feel of this in a local store.
Fit was great, sizes bigger than many other brands, so medium was perfect for me, rather than large.Looked very smart.
But using it in extreme conditions when only two weeks old showed up a couple of weaknesses.
1. It LEAKED! - OK not much, but there was water seepage through the fabric around the right armpit, possibly from a poorly taped seam. Now in fairness the weather was VERY extreme, with torrential rain. But halfway up the mountain is no time to find your jacket leaks. Never had that problem on other gore-tex jackets.
2. The zips. - For some reason, I kept getting bits of underlying fabric caught in the zips. Both the main zip and the map pocket zip.The zips then jam and take an age to free up. In fact it became impossible to zip right up to the neck without it jamming.

Craghoppers Kiwi Gore-Tex jacket - excellent product!
Having tried several waterproof jackets previously, I have found them to be either totally sealed, that is not allowing perspiration vapour out, resulting in uncomfortable wetness forming inside the coat and dampening your clothes, or the waterproof material failing in a short time. I have always been impressed with Gore-Tex material having worn it over a number of year in all weathers as a Police Officer, so I thought I would try this.

The jacket is a generous size, my chest is 42", and the medium side looks fine either without or with 2 jumpers for cold weather. The design is excellent, with all pockets designed to be fully waterproof, and I particularly like the weather proof design on the main zip, which is designed to keep out the worst that weather can throw at you.

I have worn it in cold (with the jumper) and warm raining conditions, and been comfortable throughout. I would highly recommend it.
