At last - brilliant walking trousers ...
I purchased these (32" waist, colour cement) for a holiday after a lot of on-line research. I think I made exactly the right choice. These trousers are extremely comfortable, helped by the elastic in the waist (which is great if you have a one inch over standard size waist, like I have!). The material is soft and cool to wear and the legs zips to turn the trousers into shorts are well shielded and do not rub. The only slight problem I had is with the trouser length - the 32" waist size came with 32" leg length. So my Mrs sat with the sewing machine and turned up the hems an inch. All round, an excellent buy, recommended. So goood, I think I'll get a blue pair now ....

Nice trousers, shame about the pockets
These trousers appear to be very well made, and I expect them to be able to last a while. They are also a comfortable fit. They are let down by the pockets, firstly, there are simply not enough of them, and not enough secure, (ie zipped) ones. One on the leg, and one at the back is all you get of those. Also,the main two front pockets are described as 'large volume cargo style', but in fact they are quite tight, and rather shallow. I previously owned a much cheaper pair of Regatta trousers that had much more useful deeper pockets, and another deep zipped pocket accessed through the right front 'normal' one, plus two at the back. Admittedly, they were not as well made as these, but still, in my opinion the lack of secure carrying ability restricts these trousers practicality for travellng.
